[3dem] Image file format of Eagle 4K CCD and conversion

EMAN2 (recent versions only) will also read .ser files natively and convert them to any other format, eg-

e2proc2d.py myfile.ser myfile.mrc
e2proc2d.py myfile.ser myfile.hed
...
