[3dem] freezing viscous material

Hi,

	Someone in our Physics Department just asked me to freeze and examine a 
sample that has the consistency of molasses or maybe runny rubber 
cement.  It's not as sticky as either of those materials, but it is 
definitely thick and slow flowing.  Does anyone have suggestions for how 
to go about this?  Thanks.
