The 3DEM Software Group at Wadsworth Laboratories in Albany, NY, has a position
available for a scientific programmer.   The individual will participate in
development, maintenance, and documentation of advanced software for  electron
microscopy image processing. Specifically this person will create and test
scripts for single particle 3D reconstruction, create Java based visualization
software, and maintain our Internet Web site.

The individual should have a Bachelors degree in Math, Physics, Computer
Science, or a related field and relevant experience in software development in a
Linux environment.  Experience in one or more of the following:  image
processing, multivariate statistics, or  parallel processing
would be advantageous.

Excellent benefits including vacation, retirement, tuition support, etc.  Must
be eligible to work in USA.  The position is grant supported through August
2013.
