A cryoEM single particle postdoc position is available in the Agard laboratory at UCSF

Our goal is to couple high resolution cryoEM structural studies of key complexes with a broad array of other biophysical methods to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of either the Hsp90 molecular chaperone or complexes involved in microtubule assembly.

UCSF is superbly equipped for high resolution cryoEM, having a Polara with a ground-breaking Gatan K2 direct detect CMOS imager and a GIF/UltraCam; a TF20 with Tietz 8kx8k imager; a T20 and T12 both with 4k UltraScans; Oxford and Gatan-style cold stages, 2 VitroBots, etc.

Please send applications to agard at msg.ucsf.edu
