ASSISTANT SCIENTIST



The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology seeks an enthusiastic Ph.D. level structural biologist, with expertise in cryo-electron microscopy and image reconstruction, to work with UF Scientist on Cyro EM retention projects.  The individual will work with the EM Core director to establish a cryo-Em facility;  responsible for the day to day operation, maintenance and assist users with collection of date and structure determination.    Opportunities will be available to conduct collaborative research with no expectation to apply for independent research funding, unless desired.   Salary will be negotiable and commensurate with experience.
