[3dem] Blotting out excess Ethane

Dear All
Please share your experience and possible ways of "blotting out excess ethane " while preparing grids for cryoEM using Vitrobot without damaging the cryo-fixed sample. The idea is to remove the excess ethane which solidifies when transferring to the grid-box that is partly/fully  submerged in liquid nitrogen.
