[3dem] AFM image analysis

We have a collection of images acquired on a Veeco Nanoscope4 at another
site, but would like to do the image analysis in our lab where we do not
have the instrument or its software. Any suggestions on open source
packages that handle AFM data? Or at least, can do the format conversion?
