Postdoctoral Position - available immediately to study the 3D structure of
the microtubule-based motor, dynein. Candidate should have a Ph.D. in the
physical or life sciences and some demonstrated experience in electron
microscopy and/or computer-based image analysis. We seek an enthusiastic,
hard working individual with a general interest in the cytoskeleton and cell
motility. The project comprises cryo-EM reconstructions of epitope-tagged
and labeled dynein motors prepared under different nucleotide-binding
conditions.

The Wadsworth Center is a comprehensive biomedical research facility located
in scenic upstate New York, offering terrific state of the art research
facilities for EM, LM, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics. For further
