3DEM List Members -

Recently a message containing the Sobig.F worm was sent
to the 3DEM list. Since this list is restricted, this means
that the message at least appeared to come from an email
address on this list.

In today's internet climate, this just means that either
(a) someone on the list has an infected system which is emailing
everyone in their address book; or (more likely) (b) the message
had a "spoofed" From: entry and just _appeared_ to come from
someone on the list.

I can personally attest to the likelihood of option (b), as I
am now getting many messages informing me of infected messages
appearing to come from me, but which I never sent.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
