cryo-neg stain

We've used the procedure according to Adrian et al (Micron Vol.29 pp =
145-160 1998)  with very good results.

Its 16% ammonium molybdate at pH 6.8. The gold-sputtered holey carbon grid =
that is mentioned in the reference above  also helps to keep the particles
from sticking to the carbon and promotes more of them into the holes, but =
of course, some samples do not tolerate the gold, and fall apart. It can =
be worth=20
checking, though.

conditions ie which neg stain and which concentration should be used?
