Postdoctoral Position in Membrane Protein 
Structure

The post, funded through the BBSRC initiative on 'Macromolecular 
Assemblies: Structure and Function' (MASIF), is available for up to 5 
years. The project will involve using the bacterial photosynthetic system as 
a model for exploring the structure and assembly of a membrane using a 
combination of molecular genetic, spectroscopic and crystallographic 
techniques. Experience in protein engineering, and in purifying membrane 
proteins is desirable. The level of appointment is negotiable.
